Dear students,

How are you? Last Thursday we read a play about Robin Hood in class, I know it is difficult to read a play in loud voice in English but you did it quite well.
I showed you some flashcards that showed pictures of habitual actions, we used them to speak about the things we do and don't do in an ordinary day, for example.

Do you brush your hair every day?
Yes , I do.

What time do you get up?
At 8 o'clock

We played hot potatoe, it was very funny. We also played guess who am I.

WEEK  8

First of all I would like to apologise for the delay in updating the blog, I had flu and wasn't feeling very well.

During our eighth lesson we played a board game to practise speaking about our hobbies and free time activities. We had to tell the rest of the class the reason why we liked or disliked an activity or sport.

Do you like fishing?
No , I don't
Why?
Because it's very boring.

We spoke about our hobbies and asked the other students about theirs. We played a new game Guess who I am, similar to who am I? but a bit more difficult.

At the enf of the lesson we watched a mini 5 minute episode of the Rugrgats, cartoons.

For homework the boys had to do a project about their favourite toy or favourite hobby.

WEEK 7

Hi students!

How are you since our last lesson?
Last Thursday we learnt about hobbies and free time activities. We learnt how to say plenty of hobbies in English and answer questions like.

- What's your favourite hobby?
- My favourite hobby is playing computer games.

- Do you like hiking?
-Yes I do, or No, I don't.

We played a board game about the lesson's topic, we also played hot potato and a really quick Who am I?

Don't forget to ask me about the project we are going to do before Christmas.

Hi boys!

Sorry for the delay.
First of all I would like to congratulate you for your behaviour. Last lesson you behaved much better than in previous weeks and you were more participative.

During our seventh lesson we continued practising the vocabulary and the grammatical structures we learnt about school subjects. We completed a worksheet and played a board game that helped you practising your communication skills. We also played the hot potatoe game and Simon says.

I didn't set any homework but I hope you are revising everything we study in class.

WEEK 5

Hi students!

How are you? Did you have a good time in Halloween?
Last Thursday was Bruno's birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

During our sixth lesson we continued practising and learning about school subjects and doing some exercises for Trinity grade 3. We revised our knowledge about Halloween playing a boardgame and learnt useful adjectives to describe scary things such as spooky or enchanted.

We practised our reading comprehension with a text about the origins of Halloween and completed a crossword for the weekly Olynpic games, Adrián Esteban and Bruno were the quickest and won 10 points each.

There is no homework for next week. I only ask you to revise everything we saw in class.

Dear boys,

How are you? Last Thursday we began a new unit about school subjects. P. E, Geography, English, Science, Maths, I.T, Drama, Art...  We spoke about your favourite subjects and did a worksheet about school timetables.

For the Olympic games we did an exercise on telling the time. I was surprised by how well you knew to tell the time in English. At the end of the lesson we played the game you enjoy the most, Who am I.

Most of the boys behaved very well during the class but there are still 2 boys that need to improve their behaviour.

Adrian was very helpful and had a fantastic attitude during the lesson. Jorge and Víctor worked very hard as they usually do.

Dear parents and children,

You couldn't see the new entries I wrote because the blog was duplicated. I apologize for any inconvenience and will delete the other blog as soon as I find out how!

During yesterday's lesson we learnt how to say, spell and write the ordinal numbers, dates, months of the year and seasons. We practised playing an special Ordinal Numbers Bingo and saying our birthday date in loud voice.

You behaved better than other days although you still need to improve.

We had a great time playing Who am I and watching a 5 minute Peppa Pig's episode.

For homework you have to write a summary of the episode we watched in class. I leave you the link of the episode to watch it again in case you don't remember.

Hello boys!

Something must be wrong with blogger because I cannot see the previous entries.
Last Thursday we had a very interesting class. We played Bingo and made role-plays about the weather. We learnt and sang the Yellow Submarine song and a crossword about animals.
I am sad because you keep on misbehaving, that's why this week you are not going to get any points for the Olympic Games.
